Henni Zuel is an English professional golfer.
Henni was born in Salisbury and was first introduced to golf at the age of nine by her mother. By the age of 12 she had a single figure handicap and in 2003, the following year, she became:
- Yeovil Ladies Club Champion
- England U13 Champion
- The youngest ever player on the Ladies European Tour as an amateur
Her career went from strength to strength:
- England U16 & U15 Champion
- Welsh Ladies Open Champion in 2005.
- Girls British Open Champion in 2007
- A member of the winning European Team in the Junior Solheim Cup.
In 2008 Henni began her professional career, re-joining the Ladies European Tour and playing her first professional event in the Turkish Open. She was nominated for Britain’s Best Awards for Home Grown Talent (the award ceremony honours outstanding Britons in categories including business, art, television, music, film, sport and fashion).
Henni has had 5 top 10 finishes on the Ladies European Tour so far and has won 2 LET Access events.
Since 2014 Henni has taken a break from playing and made a transition over to broadcasting where she has been working for Sky Sports Golf as a presenter and commentator as well as doing freelance journalism.
Henni has always been passionate about helping others and giving back through the sport that gave her so much.
