Furthermore, we’re one of hundreds of organisations taking part in this year’s #SmallBusinessStar campaign, a festive fundraising opportunity for small businesses to work for good and raise money for charities they love.

Autumnal Achievements at the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Mintridge Foundation

Oh London, you continue to give us the best pick me ups when we need them the most, and this time it was in the form of the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Oh London, you are magnificent. We might be biased as our two runners raised £4,000 and rising for the Mintridge Foundation, but the London community really did make Sunday a truly special day as the Virgin London Marathon returned. After 889 days since the previous London Marathon in April 2019, it was certainly back with a bang!

The Mintridge Foundation kicked October off in style with a visit to the beautiful North Norfolk School of Gresham’s with Great Britain Hockey’s Grace Balsdon fresh off the plane from Tokyo with her brand new Olympic bronze medal. Wow, what a role model for the Gresham’s students to have.

The Mintridge Foundation once again teamed up with the fantastic team at Charitable Travel to bring everyone a challenge with another sensational prize. There was another team in our squad for this Challenge and that was the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

The Mintridge Foundation knows only too well the magic and energy that the Olympic and Paralympic Games bring through their team of sporting role models and despite the Covid – 19 restrictions of the Tokyo Games, we were determined that this year would be no different.

We have waited a long time to experience the highly anticipated Swim Serpentine, but it was definitely worth the wait…

We can see why celebrities like Linford Christie and Minnie Driver were donning their wetsuits to join in the fun and games just like #TeamMintridge Superstars, Grace Harrison (2014 Commonwealth Games Finalist and Mintridge Gymnastics Ambassador) and Maya Henshaw (Loughborough University Undergraduate and 2020 – 2021 Mintridge Intern).
