Netball Masterclass with Eboni Usoro-Brown at Lingfield College
On Wednesday 9th September 2026, the Mintridge Foundation delivered its first programme at Lingfield College in Surrey, with former England netballer Eboni Usoro-Brown delivering a netball masterclass to pupils across the Senior school.
Expert coaching and advice for every year group
Eboni ran a full day of sessions for pupils, starting with the upper years before moving through Year 10, Year 9, Year 8 and Year 7, giving every year group the chance to learn from an elite level player. The school's brief was focused on dictating space as a defender, and Eboni worked through this using a range of match situations.
In parallel with the technical focus, Eboni emphasised the second session aim of getting students genuinely involved in, and excited about netball.
Smiles and high-fives all round
Students listened closely to Eboni's advice and were soon putting it into practice on court. The dry weather held out all day, allowing every session to run smoothly outdoors.
Each session closed with a Q&A, where Eboni fielded questions from curious pupils, always a highlight of the day and seeing a Commonwealth Gold medal up close was a firm favourite too.
